it's cool how twitter doles out (almost certainly) 100% automated punishments, tells you that multiple such punishments might get you permanently banned, and then gives you the two options of:
1. delete the tweet, thereby implicitly admitting guilt and adding to some mystery permaban counter
2. appeal, wait 35 hours and counting for an actual human, and be completely unable to use twitter in the meantime. can't read it, can't DM, can't even switch accounts on android
@eevee I think I remember seeing something about Twitter's conduct guidelines following a both-sides-ish context-what-context there's-no-difference-between-privileged-and-marginalized-groups policy
sympathies on the bullshittery :(

@eevee It's such an infurationg mess, makes you want to tear it all down and start over, it feels too fucked to fix at this point
@eevee this kinda seems like it was reported and accepted don't you think? none of those words seem like obvious automated trigger words. which kinda makes it not frustrating to me
@eevee whoops i meant "more" not "not". but you got the point. pretty fucked up that they do that and that it works
@eevee Yeah, I got this 2 years ago for saying punching TERFs and Nazis is self defense. The appeal process went nowhere with I suspect an auto responder after 48-72hrs reaffirming the automated punishment. Filing additional appeals got the same result. Pretty sure you only get manual review anymore if you have a checkbox account. Instead of admitting guilt I stopped using Twitter and my life has been better for it.
