The PCs in the campaign I'm running for more than a year now for my son and his friends just leveled up for the first time in #DungeonWorld. We switched to DW a month ago after a year of #Pathfinder. It's really refreshing that we just sat together and leveled up, with no need for long rule checks and calculations.
They saved a forest dimension by climbing a sword which became like a tower the closer you got to it. Want to hear more about it?

I have an 8 year old and a 4 year old. The game is with the 8YO. His friends are 8—10.

As for #Roleplaying — you should definitely try it, not just with your children. It's one of the best hobbies/art forms/entertainment media around.
@eladhen yes that's true but it will be easier to play it with the kids than finding friends that are nerdy enough to do roleplaying 😉 btw mine are 10 and 6 years old...
@dubst3pp4
You can do it the other way around: find some nerdy people to play with. They'll quickly be your friends.
@eladhen @dubst3pp4 If you do it enough with the kids, the parents of THOSE kids may start seeing the light and so on.
I am at a point now where I have a small group of my teen kid and a friend and some co-workers of mine.
It really is great fun.
I may have to look a bit at this #DungeonWorld are there any #SRD docs or free bits to look at?
@PresGas @dubst3pp4
The entire game is Creative Commons:
@eladhen oooh #dungeonworld players! 😃
@eladhen Glad you like it! Have you tried out Savage Worlds? It's my favored system for rules-light play.
@MeimuHakurei
Oh, I've been playing #DungeonWorld for a while now with my friends. I switched the kids after just having enough of #Pathfinder. As for #SavageWorlds — I've heard a lot about it, but haven't tried it yet.
@eladhen yes, I want! Really interesting topic. Never did real role playing but I think my boys will like it, too 😃 What age are your kids?
