elementary OS 5.1.4 is here! This new release of the fast, open, and privacy-respecting replacement for Windows and macOS contains Screen Time & Limits, a revamped Applications Menu, deep System Settings search, an improved AppCenter, and more. https://blog.elementary.io/hera-updates-for-april-2020/
@elementary It seems to me similar to PureOS 9.0. (both based in Gnome). I understand the ease of use is important, but I am a bit apprehensive of placing technology away from the final user... not to explain it to them, no empowering users... It could makes dependents users. Of course it is positive... but just to be careful...
@lfajardo the elementary desktop has a few really neat onramps to help users understand the OS and the apps on a deeper level. For example, each app in the AppCenter has a homepage link where users can find source code. Then we include the Code app and build toolchain by default so people can dive in, and there's a thorough guide to getting started: https://docs.elementary.io/develop/
