@ennolenze Back in the days, MPlayer had a segfault, when an 'I' appeared within subtitles, but only with a TR locale. The reason being that MPlayer looked at the lower case character which for 'I' becomes 'ı' (notice the missing i-dot), which is outside the ASCII or even Latin-1 range. Took some time to figure that one out.
