Recently got a very well preserved copy of my first encounter with the fantasy genre: Swords & Serpents from 1982 for the #intellivision. It still has the shrink wrap and the original receipt! I'd forgotten how gorgeous the manual was. ⚔️🐉

However, I also discovered that it's not always wise to try to clear the fog from one's #retrogaming memories. Turns out you couldn't fight the dragon boss on the back of the box and the torches lighting the dark passages didn't look exactly as I remembered... 😆
