Some documentary came up on the birdsite asking people what their first FPS game was, and I posted mine. I think it qualifies within all parameters, but does anyone have an even earlier experience?

However, I also discovered that it's not always wise to try to clear the fog from one's #retrogaming memories. Turns out you couldn't fight the dragon boss on the back of the box and the torches lighting the dark passages didn't look exactly as I remembered... 😆
