Putting on sunscreen this morning, and thinking about goth/sunscreen jokes, and why isn't coconut a goth scent by now? Is somebody out there actually marketing a sunscreen that smells gothy? What would that even be?
@benhamill @erinbee Clove, surely?
@erinbee whatever incense is popular and a hint of grenadine.
@erinbee uhhh, red roses and black leather? actually i might own that made by BPAL...
@Yaarnvark Haha, yeah, I was kind of half picturing someone emptying BPAL samples into a SPF 50 bottle
@erinbee burning leaves
@rotatingskull Ah, yes. For the "I don't care if it's Halloween, sun protection is year round!" crowd.
@acb On the floral note: Southern Gothic - magnolias, moss, and tobacco.
@erinbee cloves?
@erinbee ...sulfur?
@karobit There's a sulfur works across the inlet from downtown Vancouver, and as a kid I was so disappointed to find out that brimstone was sulfur. Wow, much Satan, very eternal suffering.
@erinbee no one has to teach the devil to suck eggs, he smells like he's sucked a lot of 'em
@erinbee patchouli maybe? Musk or amber? Can’t see why sunscreen never got branched out for scents.
@Boudicca Yeah, it seems like a missed market
@erinbee crypt dust
@sexybenfranklin Whatever aftershave The Crypt-Keeper wears
@erinbee frankly, I'm suspicious of your goth cred for not instantly jumping to it.
@sexybenfranklin I have no goth cred, and live in an area with nary a crypt to be found
@erinbee
Clove cigarettes.
@JulieSqveakaroo That seems to be the number one answer.
@erinbee Maybe red clover?
