Interesting, Webkit's new beta shipped 'prefers-color-scheme' (part of the Media Queries Level 5 spec) for hinting whether the host device has a 'dark mode' preference enabled. I wonder if other platforms will adopt this.
Considering the pretty dramatic variation in what 'dark mode' means to different platforms, might take a little JS sniffing to make this really useful for proper aesthetic blending.
