What are you watching this fall? Mostly thinking TV but happy to hear about movies too!
@fobo My husband is very into ST but I'm pretty wimpy about horror, even if it's not too horror-y.
@eyebrows I have admittedly terrible taste in entertainment, so I'm mostly into genres like horror and sci fi. ST has flaws, but does a good job of painting an 80s small town picture.
@fobo honestly my favorite shows are usually the ones aimed at 14-year-old girls, I am not one to judge!
@eyebrows The Good Place, and my guilty pleasure, The Voice.
@MexicanYenta @eyebrows forking love the good place. For moives, just a couple nights ago watched The Incredible Jessica James, it was fantastic
@MexicanYenta I watch The Good Place with my 8yo, he is fascinated by it.
@eyebrows so is my SO, because he's a big time philosophy nerd. So I get impromptu relevant lectures that go mostly over my head during and after each episode. Lol
@eyebrows I just finished Mindhunter (excellent, posted to fanfare) and Shameless (v. good). Also good: Jane the Virgin. Tried Wentworth but gave up, too dark and cliched.
@afabulous I've heard good things about Mindhunter! Maybe after I finish Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, which is addicting.
@eyebrows if you like true crime stuff, the Confession Tapes (Netflix) is good but disturbing
@eyebrows maybe not great if you have little kids...
@eyebrows @afabulous I'm going to be Miss Fischer at a party tomorrow!!
@eyebrows Currently watching Deutschland 83-- low key but engaging: https://www.hulu.com/watch/884950 ... https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2016/jan/03/channel-4-cold-war-drama-deutschland-83
@eyebrows I’ve added the Gifted and Discovery and been pleased so far. I also just discovered The Good Place.
@eyebrows rewatching Stranger Things in prep for the new season. A couple of horror movies (The Void, It Follows) that I've missed. And of course the ever present children's shows like Puffin Rock ;)
