@cloudflare has released #Wildebeast, a way to run your own #fediverse instance, using #cloudflare 's servers.

A basic version to host your own private instance will set you back $5/month.

Wildebeast has no user registration, instead using other identity providers to sign in.

This is the first big commercial company on the fediverse, and I'm watching the cultural impact closely👀. Regardless, its an impressive piece of engineering.
