Part of my job as office manager is to keep supplies stocked up. People in this office drink a ridiculous amount of coffee which takes a chunk out the budget as Nescafé is now about £6 a jar. Recently switched it with £1.25 coffee from Aldi and nobody's noticed the difference.
@fesshole Coffee is not just an expense, it is an investment in enhanced productivity. And good coffee, like other aspects of a nice place to be at the office, is an investment in physical attendance, morale and loyalty as well.
@HauntedOwlbear @fesshole In fact, this probably explains why no-one noticed the change. Nescafé tastes like toe jam rolled in dirt anyway, so no change in going even cheaper.
@HauntedOwlbear @fesshole I’m fine with fairly cheap pods at home, but if I *must* have instant coffee, Moconna is one of the few ok ones. I genuinely prefer to go without than have Nescafé, and that’s saying something.
@fesshole
This says a lot about how shit Nescafe is, and instant coffee in general.
@fesshole Nescafe tastes like donkey poop, so that could only have been an improvement.
@fesshole The Aldi Colombian instant is actually pretty good as far as instant goes.
