Tide, originally an iPad app, built as a Snap on the Ubuntu Touch tablet itself, using Snapcraft.
@fredldotme may I ask which version of the kernel you have there running?
@zygoon sure, it's 4.14 on this JingPad, 4.19 on the Fairphone 4.
@fredldotme have you run into any issues with ontainer technologies die to missing kernel features?
@zygoon Only Snapcraft+LXD not allowing user-level namespaces to work properly by default. There's also the issue with Docker not installing but that is an AppArmor parser issue.
@fredldotme apparmor parser issue? Are you able to freely pick userspace versions?
@zygoon theoretically we could vendor in a newer one but we prefer not to as much as possible. We got whatever 20.04 has right now.
@fredldotme oh 20.04 is somewhat old. It is still impressive things run!
