I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them...

@fribbledom what if I told you, that you are in the good old days right about now?

And that everything is going to go to shit in, let's say, 5 years?

@Wolf480pl @fribbledom

“This is why I am glad I'll definitely die within the next 40 years. I'm a futurist who doesn't especially want to witness certain stretches of future that I'm pretty sure are coming."
- Rev. Ivan Stang

@fribbledom All days are good old days. For some we just dont get old enough.

@fribbledom According to most pre-modern cultures, the good old days where the first ones, history is a downward slide into horrible, and yesterday is always better than tomorrow.

improvisational lines

@fribbledom Sometimes it's difficult to determine whether you're life is going well.

@fribbledom My favorite musical lyric ever is Carly Simon’s, ”these are the good old days”

@fribbledom Everybody is always in in the good old days :) Except for when IE6 dominated the Web haha, that was scary!

@fribbledom Is someone doing a narration? That's usually a good sign.

@fribbledom don't we all ☹️

The ironic part is at the time I thought those days sucked. Now I look back on them as the best days of my life.

@fribbledom you can notice tendencies of some things getting worse!

@fribbledom To quote Gogol Bordello: There were never any good old days
They are today, they are tomorrow
It's a stupid thing we say
Cursing tomorrow with sorrow (“Ultimate”, 2007)

@fribbledom Or, to quote John Allison, Nostalgia is a drug (Bad Machinery, don’t know the date)

@fribbledom don´t you? for me this is pretty easy. Because to become the "good old days" you have to feel really good. And don´t you know if you´re feeling really good?
