Quarterfinals, Match 3 of the 3rd Programming Language World Championships!

@fribbledom Wow, this one's REALLY close. I think it Go will win on penalties. 😉

@fribbledom Ok why are you pitching two of my favorite languages together

Guess I picked the right ones to learn? :blobmiou:

@fribbledom This is so much more controversial then I expected.

@fribbledom Even more razor-thin than I was expecting. Four votes apart...

@fribbledom
If lua libraries used 0 indexing instead of starting at 1 it wouldn't even be a competition. You can index "arrays"(tables) starting at 0 but it's not the convention. I love Lua regardless

@fribbledom

For sure Lua is a lovely language (I don't know) but I didn't expect this, and I wonder whether this is love for Lua or hate for Go.

@Zorion @fribbledom Maybe the reason it's because the name begins with "Go", and ends with "ogle"

@fribbledom So we had the same match last year, but I think back then lua won by a larger margin

Go LUA Go ! 👨‍💻👨🏻‍💻👨🏼‍💻👨🏽‍💻
