Come take a trip with me down memory lane:

CD-MAN (DOS, 1989)

I used to play this as a kid in the early 90s. Before that I had only seen Pac-Man on the Atari 2600, which was a rather lousy version of this classic.

Here you had to collect keys to unlock parts of the map. Also, no ghosts, but spiders instead. CD-MAN still looks like Pac-Man tho 😆

@fribbledom Reminds me of Pacman Jr. or whatever it was called.

@fribbledom Absolutely loved CD-Man. It was a legitimately great idea to have locked paths on the map. aaaaaaa this one was my first dos game introduced by my late father after upgrading from DOS to Win98. i play a lot of this until make the PC got freeze up due not closing the game and launch a new instance instead. Thanks for the nostalgia ❤️

@fribbledom wowI remember that but completely forgot about its existence, thanks! Is Lode Runner Legends on win3.1 next?

@fribbledom Thanks! I completely forgot about this, and just remembered that I played it, too. :)

@fribbledom I'd completely forgotten CD-MAN. Very impressive for the day for using a higher resolution instead of the usual 320x200.
