We went from the Turing Test, where a computer tries to convince a human that it is not a computer but a real person, to Captchas, where humans try to convince a computer they're a real person, not a computer.
@fribbledom Yeah and I've failed captchas for no reason.
@fribbledom reverse #cyberpunk
@fribbledom As an old internet curmudgeon, I'm disappointed that the single-T spelling of Captcha became standard. It's a Completely Automated Partial Turing Test To Tell Computers and Humans Apart, and as such can have up to four Ts. It's just gay erasure to spell it with one.
#CAPTTTTCHA.
@y6nH @fribbledom “old internet curmudgeon=boomer” it’s captcha, like caught ya stupid ass bot!
@liberty_hippie It's past your bedtime, kiddo!
@y6nH you don’t know my timezone!
@fribbledom
Next, the Dafueorako test, where humans, computers, and dolphins must work together to prove we're sapient. Hint: that instinct to call the dolphins' oldest Rep a dick? It's a good one. The other dolphins are thinking it. That set of torrents that became self aware five years ago? Thinking it. Call the ass out.
@fribbledom Yeah I once saw a bot post something on Tumblr and man, I didn't notice it wasn't a human at all, until I saw its name, something with bot
