Hey hackers! We want legislation requiring that publicly financed software be made available under a licence!

@fsfe Thousands of municipalities pay big bucks to software vendors, instead of collaborating with other cities, even though they have IT departments.

My city pays millions a year to microsoft alone, because nobody has "linux for city governments", and they need microsoft office on every city/agency/library terminal.
