The 4th of July is a white patriotic holiday. In no point in American history has the FULL equivalence of every person in the land of America has been made equivalent to this "day".
So that shit is just yet another day to me.

@alienghic @jalcine Every now and then when I'm feeling extra cynical I go to the big displays of jingoistic merchandise in the front of Target or wherever and try to find a Made In America label and wonder what the folks in the various other countries think of this amazingly tacky stuff as they're making it.
