@gbraad Interesting. I had verified that ¥ is the character used in Japan.. but the relation of the symbol to China was not apparent.

@globalc Japanese have a 'history'with China they often tend to forget (or rewrite), but the language is one of them that is hard to ignore; also the reason why the symbol 'matches'.
