NEW BLOG POST: web-mode + eglot + Vuter + #Vue.js = happy
I'd like to ask you people to boost this post to see how long it'd take for it to reach someone else from my town (Westervoort, The Netherlands).
Of course, that implies that I'm not the only one here that uses Mastodon, but hey, part of the challenge :)
Starting on the 18th of August 2020 :)
@randomgeek Probably gonna need to learn some Vue soon. Far as I can tell, I'll like it better than React, but not quite as much as Svelte.
@randomgeek it's the first web UI automation thing where i feel like it _might_ be possible to use it without rapidly accidentally breaking it.
(disclaimer: have heard about Robot Framework but haven't looked at it at all. hope it's great!)
@randomgeek I haven't messed directly with it myself, but EW at $WORK has a blog post coming out soon about how much he enjoyed Cypress in a recent engagement, FWIW.
@randomgeek AND it ain't like existing Perl 5 _or_ Stairway is going away. If you don't like it, just don't upgrade to new versions. Don't buy new albums. It'll be fine.
But this "I want new things that are exactly like the things I have and nobody can have anything different" approach is fucking infuriating
Hey I wrote a thing for work's blog about making better tickets. Maybe read it and let me know what you think?
Plus: puppy pictures!
How techbros sound rn
I don't really feel strongly one way or the other about renaming "master" branches to "main" but I'm here to comment about how I'm doing so begrudgingly and making the process as unnecessarily exhausting for all involved as possible just the same
I just kinda like it when things that help other people are a little bit painful for them, and I want to let you know that I will do as little to help as I can possibly get away with
just, like, this guy, ya know?
