hey #Zulip is pretty awesome and not many people seem to know about it so

this is me, talking about it

um, yeah, it's good and it works and it has a really nice and clean #UI that combines threaded and linear messaging very nicely and it also has channels and topics so you can organize messaging on multiple levels

it's not federated afaik but for centralized communication it is pretty cool and you can self-host it coz it's #FOSS
