Seems like today I've earned my first block!

So we're back at algorithms analysing engagement, huh?
It will be interesting to see how the community will react this time.

This came up before and the community objected to it. Now it is back for some reason. No public discussion as far as I have seen.

128 bit integers were added to Rust, so my program that counts how often the Rust compiler has saved my ass, can be implemented without the value overflowing.

Friendly reminder that any optimisation level in gcc or clang that is above 3, is equivalent to O3.

I only just noticed this as I wanted to test some of my olm code. But it is impossible to find an example message using this algorithm and reproducing it with Riot isn't possible as it defaults to m.megolm.v1.aes-sha2 for E2E. Guess I'll just move on to megolm then.

So am I seeing this right: The matrix protocol has this well defined and tested crypto routine for 1-1 chats m.olm.v1.curve25519-aes-sha2 and their reference client doesn't use it?

Evolution is cool and all, but why did it have to give us wisdom teeth?
