I’m in New York! What should I do?
@oliof Oh man, that’s definitely on the list! I’m here with my wife who’s never been to the city. I visited the city once a while back, and the Hi Line was one of my favorite things.
@hisaac
- visit the Ellis Island immigration museum
@hisaac
- go to the "Top of the Rock" (Rockefeller building) -- about as spectacular as the view from the Empire State Building, but you have the Empire State Building as part of the view!
@oliof I did the Rockefeller Plaza tour the last time I was here, and I loved that. Definitely in the plans for this trip as well!
@hisaac
- if the weather allows, walk the Manhattan-Brooklyn bridge.
@hisaac I agree with @coffeeadikt : going to the top of the Empire State Bldg is a must for every 1st-time visitor to NYC. There’s also Central Park (if it’s warm enough) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art if you’re into that sort of thing. Are you into any particular hobbies? Chances are, NYC has some sort of awesome store dedicated to that.
@burendasan @coffeeadikt We hit the Met and Central Park yesterday. Both were great! Probably gonna do Empire State Building tomorrow or Tuesday!
@hisaac
- Walk the High Line Park
