What are the best laptops for running Linux on 2017?
(Even if if takes a firmware blob to get things working)
@brennen Most of the answers here and on birdsite have been Thinkpads so far
@hisham_hm I've found ThinkPads to be very Linux-friendly. I have Linux Mint on T420 and it works great
@hisham_hm Then again the T420 isn't exactly new so

@hisham_hm I heard people are very content with a Lenovo 430s and the like
@hisham_hm i await with interest any answers to this that aren't thinkpads or the dell xps line, 'cause that's the best i've got at the moment.
