One notable aspect of Mastodon that I haven't seen anyone mention yet is that it doesn't show counts of favorites and boosts in a toot... and that's excellent.
I recently started using a Firefox extension to hide those on Twitter and it's amazing how not having those numbers makes your experience less of a vanity race.
@hisham_hm On birdsite I find myself glancing at the retweet/fav numbers to determine "is this even worthy of my attention"
