Ok guys, very funny.
I know for a fact that the person behind mastodon stayed up till 3AM working on the tooling. That is a real person losing real sleep over something I'm using and asking others to use.
It can make criticism feel incredibly personal.
The Ruby library for interacting with the Mastodon client API is in dire need of completion. If you're looking for ways to contribute code, I think that's a good starting point https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon-api

Got to say, the Mastodon API is really clean. One bit that sticks out is where it redirects to a web page if your login fails instead of something like {'error': "login failed'}.
