👩🔧 Help Wanted 👷
Dear Fedizens, we need your help..
We want to launch our Humane Tech Translation Program (HTTP) so we can spread info on the state of tech - their harms and solutions - across the world.
Are you in?
Boosts much appreciated :)
The site to fork lives here: https://fediverse.codeberg.page/
By fixing some of the issues on the fedi foundation website - still in draft - you are also helping the #fediverse
There are a number of TODO's to make the site ready for launch. Contributors will be attributed in Credits page and CONTRIB in the source repo.
Hey great @sandycorzeta 🤗
If you respond to this topic: https://community.humanetech.com/t/learn-how-you-can-participate-in-the-humanetech-translation-program/4994
Then I'll add you to the Humane Tech Translators group and you're in. As soon as the project is prepared we'll start translating. It is all voluntary based on time available and interest. Translations will be done with #weblate
@email@example.com already replying on the thread. waiting the project getting prepared soon <3
Oh, wonderful 💚 I hope some people will help with the site prep work too so we can get up to speed quicker.
@kev it is deliberate. It is not the name you need to search for (the program is internal to our community), and the translated articles will be promoted each on their own, without this name being anywhere prominent.
@kev Thanks for your feedback. I probably shouldn't have used HTTP above in the toot, because it is not meant to be used as an 'official' acronym.
Name is "Humane Tech Translation Program" and (maybe HTTP in our internal forum communication to save typing). Site domain is https://humanetech.community (replacing the current site) withou mention of 'http' anywhere.
Logo design *may* be the exception to that, but with the full sub-text below.
Open to improvements by contributors as we move along :D
Server run by the main developers of the project It is not focused on any particular niche interest - everyone is welcome as long as you follow our code of conduct!
