Has anyone used the book *Programming Phoenix* to learn the Phoenix web framework with Elixir? I can not get through Chapter 4, regardless of what I do. I understand what the error "(undefined_table): relation "users" does not exist" is telling me, but I do *not* understand why the table/relation is not being created.
I have verified my code is right, according to the book.
Can somebody out there help me with this?

I still think it's better than the alternative. Decentralization has always been the strength of the open web. And, if anything, this speaks to the need for having lots of small or medium-sized instances, rather than a few huge ones.
I also have around 4000 lines of Python code in a Device Control System I have been working on. I have this in mind to allow robots and other smart devices to communicate directly with each other using a set of nine different messages. Authentication is built in, as well as multiple network support and Friendly connections to allow full bidirectional data flow. It is far from completely working though, and I want to rewrite it in Elixir at some point.
The only thing I need to do with the remote control software on the Arduino is to convert it to read data from the serial port instead of a bluetooth interface. This will allow the Raspberry Pi 3 to send the same control data for locomotion to the Arduino.
