I'm glad I still have off-air DivX rips of this weirdo BBC show I watched ~15 years ago, because it sank with barely a trace.

There's a stub Wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mess

... a nearly-empty IMDB entry: imdb.com/title/tt1525220/

... and a partial Wayback archive of the show's website: web.archive.org/web/2006060317

Oh, wow, ahahaha. I was looking at the Wikipedia edit history for The Message... and I created it.

Anyway, I put it on TheTVDB so Kodi would stop complaining about the files.

This show sank so completely, I sometimes I wonder if I have the only complete copy of the series.

Show thread

@ieure maybe 20-30 years later the BBC will beg you for the copy like they did for Dr Who and a load of other shows in the 2000s (back then they had /some/ excuse as videotape was expensive and took up space, but its shocking how much content has been lost other than off air recordings of shows from the late 90s and 2000s by which time compact videotapes and even digital storage was already widely available..)
