FedEx has something called Print And Go. You email a document, and you get back a 7ish digit code. You take that code to any participating FedEx and print it at a kiosk.

I didn't sign up for an account. I didn't block 20 3rd party javascript sources that broke the page. I didn't use an upload form (well, my web email I suppose). No ads, no popups. Indeed, no website at all.

I'm sure it's just an anomaly that such a thing exists, but wow what we could have if we somehow cut out all the crap.

The one counter argument I could give is that I implicitly validated my human-ness to an extent by using a well known email provider to send the email. An anonymous no-bullshit web form probably could not manage the same offering.
