@tinysubversions have you seen a good writeup of what followbot does? I'm feeling a bit slow for not understanding its purpose.
@inkdroid federated timeline is based on follows between instances so the more follows between instances the more "complete" a federated timeline becomes. I think that is a bad idea, I like a relatively slow growing network.
@tinysubversions thanks! I think I get it now. The followbot automatically follows people from other instances which adds them to the timeline?
I like that idea of a slower growing network with meaniginful (human driven) connections.
