My problem with things like this, along with "ban cars", "abandon sugar", etc. is that absolutism just destroys the entire message. You just alienate people and achieve nothing. It's *not* the situation where you should haggle from top down to get something decent.

Of course people won't just stop eating beef or driving cars. Understand that and try to reach something that's, you know, real.

If you're modern and progressive you probably understand what "fat shaming" means and why it's destructive. However "car shaming" and, now, "beef shaming", and other types of shaming where people don't *actually* control the entirety of their choice is somehow okay?
