"But the world is full of zanies and fools
Who don't believe in sensible rules
And won't believe what sensible people say
And because these daft and dewey-eyed dopes
Keep building up impossible hopes,
Impossible things are happening everyday"

Super excited to hear about GPUs advancements and the @Nvidia@twitter.com team working to make these things work for us (genomics). It will be crucial for work in rural areas to have these powerful processors for quick diagnostics.

Of course this is the same hospital a “friend” was *allegedly* fucking a DR Bareback in a bathroom. While I was passed out in the ER.

Oh white women so ignorant, yet so judgmental.

So fucking Oregon.

Then again is it the provider’s fault or the state run hospital that hires Texas PAs that yell at ER patients “monogamy will end AIDS”.

But I’m demonized for not putting up with their bullshit!

So much it impacted my care for three years! It still does!

Seriously 😒 these people were so judgmental & purposefully ignorant of proper care. They refused to do
proper testing & treatment for anything. They are too busy experimenting with CMV than to treat the obvious inflammation I constantly have from it.

NanoporeTERs by Jeff Nivala is the answer to the big elephant in the room: Protein sequencing. It’s getting real...@NanoporeConf@twitter.com

To be fair the worst systems I’ve had the displeasure of meeting in Oregon aren’t in the story so small victories. But the way these people try to blame “mental health and substance abuse” rather than looking in the mirror for their own significant shortcomings is infuriating!!!

“The science has progressed; social stigma has not,” ... “If there are barriers between you & HIV treatment, you might as well be living in 1985. & you’re going to die like it too.”

If only the provider/system that created my barriers in Oregon weren’t in this well done article

ICYMI: The shift of HIV infection from universally fatal to a chronic condition is one of the great victories of medicine. So why are 7,000 Americans still dying of AIDS each year? j.mp/2WRPblP

“Cause I’m just me
That’s all I can be
Something real
Something I can feel
You know I just can’t change
This is how I’m made
I’m not afraid
Take me to the place

'Cause you’re the one I crave
And my cravings get dangerous
The feelings never fade“

In the United States, is no longer a death sentence, but rather, one of indentured servitude. To the government, which you must constantly show that you are poor; or to the corporations that might bestow you with health insurance.

Just how does our one-pore technology work? Nanopore sensors exploit small, brief changes in electronic current as molecules move through the pore, one by one. Watch it in action in this video.
