Sometimes to better understand a reviewed C code I'm rewriting it in Common Lisp pseudocode for clarity.

@jackdaniel IF you are confident of getting the transliteration right ;-) the curse of optional delimiters :-(

@wyatwerp it is more about building an understanding of the code. If I got it wrong, then I don't understand the code and it needs correction (the understanding and the transliteration :-). It is not about mechanical translation.

@jackdaniel at the risk of stretching the point too much, mechanical translation by an existing parser wouldn't have trouble, but manual translation might qualify to need to be tested whereas any unit tests that exist might be in a language-specific framework, and definitely not runnable on pseudo-code.
