@kingu_platypus_gidora that green dot seems conspicuously close to the opnVPN server location. Is .social tunneled through openVPN?
@kingu_platypus_gidora @jattel be aware not only are users often in a different country to their instance, the dots are roughly in physical centre of the country where instance servers are located.
At present they do not have any more geographical accuracy than this.
I am a UK user on an instance in DE and am thus added to the dot for DE. One of the main UK instances is hosted in NL.
The rest of them are *not* all in Scotland!
