they all sounded like shit how can people use this
there was one that sounded alright but it was like 800€
My fucking 250€ bookshelf speakers outperformed that one as well though
@tom Most soundbar speakers I have seen are physically small, even more so than bookshelf speakers.
Although the quality of small loudspeaker units *has* vastly improved since 1980s (due to the popularity of in car and portable audio), the basic laws of physics still apply (especially for synth and electronic music that sounds better with good bass)..

Sound is OK. Connected to TV via analogue cable to headphone jack so TV remote volume control & mute just works. Auto-on works fine when it sees signal on the input.
Supports optical and bluetooth if you must.
Lepai amp off Ebay and a pair of bookshelf speakers is a reasonable alternative.
Sony equivalent was a nightmare of bad lipsync.
