Does anyone use 2FA with Gmail *and* get their mail through Evolution?
@federicomena yeah. Just uninstalled evolution in favor of thunderbird, but that's what I had on my laptop for the last year or so

@federicomena no, it's a login once, stay logged in kind of thing. You shouldn't have a problem connecting a 2fa account with thunderbird, but you also won't have the benefit of 2fa if you choose to get email via thunderbird
