is there a setting somewhere to give me european style dates for posts (DD/MM)?
Probably not, since most services probably add a discretion clause or something
Weren't there cases in the US that gave precedence to the idea that abusing terms of service was illegal? (I think the EFF were fighting against that becoming precedent, at least)
Does this mean that a service is breaking the law is it does not follow its own ToS by removing users/ accounts?
How does GNU Ring compare to Signal for secure instant messaging?
Can someone explain the group tags, or point me to some docs? (e.g. !fediverse)
Join *any* Freenode channel and the conversion about a broken "thing" will occur within 30 minutes. Someone will paste logs within 1 hour. And someone will type "FUCKING" within 3 hours (whilst trying to explain an issue, of course).
Freenode channels (a story):
<1>: I have a problem with this thing it's not working
<2>: What about it isn't working? Can you give some more details?
<1>: It's not working. I've already said the code is broken.
<2>: What are you trying to do?
<1>: This thing.. *pastes logs*
<3>: Please don't paste logs
<1>: Ok, but the thing is broken, sorry
<2>: Okay it looks like you're trying to {...}
<1>: I think I need to install this library
<2>: No you don't
<1>: It's installed now and still not working
I can officially confirm that PEP8 is *the* definitive style guide.
I know I2P isn't a Tor replacement/ alternative, but what would you use I2P for over Tor aside from torrenting?
I read jrandom was the main developer and left I2P, so development has slowed since then.
I guess users probably see I2P as a slow network of hidden services that doesn't act as an outproxy by default. And considering there aren't many eepsites that are alive/up to date it's not that useful.
Is anyone an I2P user?
The concept is cool, but everything seems kind of dead. Even the official forum has been down for a month.
Irc2P also feels pretty empty.

Sometimes, you've just got to shitpost.
My favourite part: deciding to float all of the divs to make them site inline because whoever designed this was obviously unaware of `inline-block`.
The ultimate challenge: style a page without *any* useful IDs or classes.
Note: you must also grapple with the original code, and the many interfering stylesheets that are seemingly not used half the time.
It is 2017 and you still can't hide the scrollbar in firefox
Example of the seemingly broken add-on.
This is very annoying. Have tried restarting the Tor browser multiple times, and eventually FoxyProxy installed but seemed broken (couldn't load settings and a bunch of labels with the tag 'undefined').
@jck it is detailed here, they only brute foreced the first 40 bits: https://blog.torproject.org/blog/facebook-hidden-services-and-https-certs
