Here's the thing. the 14th amendment says this: "No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. ... The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
People have made similar arguments about having 2 senators per state, and they are of course right.
Anyway, it doesn't matter, because we're already disenfranchised past the point of return in terms of electoral politics. And who knows, maybe Trump & Barr will figure out a way to steal this one. It certainly won't be for lack of trying.
