I *have* thought about adoption a lot because *I* am adopted, and I was adopted when I was a lot older, and there are a whole lot of not-cute not-babies out there

I gotta say, I really recommend Simplisafe (not sure where it's available???), which is the original and best security-in-a-box. Also they refused to cave to the alt-right. They're also not scary because I'm pretty sure they JUST do home security
