what tinnitus sounds like!!
Whoahey, this website is awesome! You can get multiple tracks playing simultaneously, so that your loved ones can really get an understanding of what it is you are hearing in the background all the time. Tag urself—I'm "7500 Hz" + "Buzzing/Cicada" at my "most normal" https://www.soundrelief.com/tinnitus/sounds-tinnitus/
As dogs became domesticated they evolved EYEBROWS to MANIPULATE US!!!! https://www.thecut.com/2019/06/puppy-dog-eyes-study.html
I even said to Ted (every day, for five days) "I miss my dog. And the cat, but I don't WORRY about the cat." Well, I may start worrying
I have been home for 30 hours and my spouse's cat has basically demanded to play nonstop, and/or attempted to move inside my body. She spent part of tonight on my shoulder like a parrot.
So yes, Science, some cats *do* miss their owners https://www.bustle.com/p/does-my-cat-miss-me-heres-how-to-tell-if-your-furry-friend-cares-whether-not-youre-around-9010291
@gatewave I know it's you!! I was just marveling at the universality of... some of the content of your interaction with this person (i.e. her presumption that every female body must SURELY work a certain way, lol) even as the context differs somewhat. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Also, that this happened at BADMINTON??)
I *have* thought about adoption a lot because *I* am adopted, and I was adopted when I was a lot older, and there are a whole lot of not-cute not-babies out there
@nicknicknicknick oh no no, he was just letting me know that my half-conscious bathroom belting wasn't private 😇
@gatewave 😩 I'm cis but can't have kids "naturally" and the sense of entitlement other women have to your body when they learn you "don't have kids yet" is ABSURD ugh ugh
@courtney I was infuriated by cookie sales—I felt like it was preparation to someday sell Mary Kay. (No shade on moms who sell makeup out of their living rooms, but that's not my life. I wanted to learn knife skills! You know, the useful stuff)
I gotta say, I really recommend Simplisafe (not sure where it's available???), which is the original and best security-in-a-box. Also they refused to cave to the alt-right. They're also not scary because I'm pretty sure they JUST do home security
