we all know that neither a good idea nor good execution is sufficient on its own to make something good. but the even worse truth that nobody wants to hear is that theyre not even sufficient in combination

@jk I'm surprised by where I land when given the option to *endeavor* to make something good, with the only alternative being to try to get something out the door.

I really like that thought, but you get two brain cells in a room talking about the nature of good design and no one wants to talk about **anything**, let alone a hard truth. ^_^
