I don’t get this article about how to get Amazon to treat workers better. It seems to suggest continuing to shop there but... emailing Jeff Bezos?

This chart shows exactly what is "vaccine nationalism". Take a look to the number of vaccines USA and UK has exported.

So they’re sending the students and teachers back to school here:

And this line really gets me:
“The shift to online learning has created social isolation, anxiety, and depression among students of all economic backgrounds.”
Sorry, no, the deadly virus killing hundreds of thousands of people did that. Not the online learning.
Americans used to dispose of their used razor blades by putting them in a slot in the bathroom wall and pretending they just disappeared until one day someone remodels and opens the wall and a bunch of rusty razor blades fall out and I am temporarily OBSESSED with this weirdness and its implications

@jklolling The article is a bit misleading. They've started a union which is not the same as being unionized.
In the US, employees have to canvas for, and win a vote on union representation before they are considered unionized for collective bargaining and representation purposes.
Until that happens, the union is basically a club.
Interested in this small group that have unionized at Google:
