Whether or not we are happy or unhappy has no bearing on whether or not we die. And... vice versa? Other factors have more bearing on whether or not we can be happy or sad? Being sad is admittedly pretty awesome. Sobbing uncontrollably and throat-sore-ingly in bed for three days straight, cheeks getting rashes from tears. Being happy works too. It's all good.
