This is exactly the reason why for pretty much all software I write nowadays I use AGPL-3 or at least GPL.

There is no reason to not disclose your changes to at least your users.

It definitely also prevents adoption, because lawyers in big companies are scared of AGPL, but 🤷 that's not my problem.


@sheogorath @Shaft @jpmens It might even be a good thing. There is afterall an attitude that says open source development is just unpaid labour for those companies who don't like the (A)GPL...
