The thought of building an air traffic control system without commenting/documenting it actually breaks my brain.
Do the engineers designing the aircraft engines just build the damn thing, check to see if it works and then bolt them onto airplanes without writing a manual for the engine and then when asked say "look buddy I built the airplane engine so that it is self-documenting"
