@jpmens I asked a friend on birdsite "What IDE did you use when you were doing your IronPython work?"
Response: "8 years ago... hmmm... think I started in a Visual Studio on Windows and then MonoDevelop on Linux...."
Sorry if the whole .NET angle complicates things.
@jpmens I just asked someone that the other day ... he said "Atom was the the thing for a while, but Microsoft's VSCode is the new hotness." Haven't had a chance to check out either.
