I never made an #introduction post so here it is. My name is Joseph and I'm a poet, software engineer, wine maker, chess player, community queer nightmare. I am recently getting into surfing and hiking more and trying to grow a moustache. I will be posting about stupid tech things, pictures from travels and generally being a hardcore leftist nuisance.

I would like to eventually set up the haiku bot as some kind of art installation where people can contribute sentences, stories or read haiku aloud to be played for others but I'm not sure yet.

Today I had my first surfing lesson and I can really see the appeal! I fell off the board so much I got dizzy, I am riddled with sunburns and my feet are in constant agony. I booked another session for Friday.
