So I've got a USB-C powerbank, and I'd like to charge it from my USB-C port on my ThinkPad. Does not work. Do I need to set some flag in sysfs or something?

The power bank was 10,000 mAh (36 Wh) for 15€. Cheap. Online price was 20€. Smaller capacity ones would have been more practical (as they're also physically smaller), but were more expensive.

@juliank I can only charge my X1 Carbon with my USB-C battery when the computer is closed/turned off. I think I remember figuring out it was a wattage issue -- there's some minimum power the battery wasn't providing that's required for the computer to charge when it's running.

@maxj I want to do the opposite though. Charge the power bank from the running laptop.
