Check a #URL for its category and safety status with zveloLIVE.
Another tip: Every Mastodon account has RSS built in. Just add .rss to the end of the URL for your account, e.g. merveilles.town/@lrhodes.rss
That lets people follow your public posts from an RSS reader, but it's also useful if you wanted to use IFTTT to crosspost your public posts to another platform.
Finally revisiting this project. Waiting on some new capacitive touch sensors to try, so I thought I'd write a new pattern to take advantage of the rings.
I mapped all the "connections" between rings, randomly switch to a new ring & change direction.

I did it. My site is now 66kb in size thanks to an unnecessary number of hours of work 😅 But I am proud!

Not sure folk are aware that using Google fonts by URL in their CSS undermines the privacy of each and every site visitor, sending their IP to GG with every visit. How? Because with each visit they download the font from GG, not your server.
If you will use GG fonts, don't do this
@import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=FontName[...]
Download that font, and resource it locally instead
@font-face {
font-family: FontName';
font-style: normal;
src: url('../fonts/FontName.woff2');
[...]
}
I found this free tool, Computer Software for Digital Forensic Investigation “Autopsy” on the website autopsy.com
The video below teaches how to use it.

So the going price for settling “utterly untrue” sexual harassment claims is apparently $250,000 🤔
[^1]: This is necessary because anyone can send anyone else an #NFT. It's like Venmo: not designed for unwanted "gifting". Ensuring that you minted it is akin to confirming that you published the HTML and someone didn't just like...put a rel=me link in a comment on your site to trick the system.
It seems I found the page to join groups or instances as they call them here.
I’ll try to join tomorrow but if someone knows another trick on how to find Technology, Science, etc. communities around here, please, let me know.
