if you have issues with colleagues or your boss many people on R*ddit and elsewhere recommend to "collect evidence", "document everything" and then approach HR. you should not do that. HR is there to protect the company. they will only intervene if it's detrimental for the company image. they'll try to find ways to get rid of you if you raise issues. especially if it's towards a superior.
@kaia oh yeah. On my construction site i have weird situation with this. General contractor has other subcontractors to do an actual job. If i would raise an issue of every safety violations of general one, they would do a revenge on my ass. I can't go to bulk issue, as it would have the same outcome, and the next day, my access on site would be revoked. What's left was to collect an evidence and after the project make a safety violation photo album. Maybe HSE will use it in future
